What is our background? The firm’s origin can be traced to two separate firms. Lee Hishammuddin was founded in 1993, by a team of dynamic lawyers. It rapidly expanded to become a major presence in Malaysia as a multi-practice firm. Allen & Gledhill was originally founded in Singapore in 1902. Allen & Gledhill Malaysia was set up in 1959. It became an independent law firm in 1972 with practices based in Kuala Lumpur. Allen & Gledhill Malaysia is firm with immense heritage. With effect from January 2005, the partners of both firms decided to combine their strengths into one entity: Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill. The principal objective of the partners of this new entity is to share their expanded wealth of knowledge and experience to the business community as they deserves the strongest law firm possible to advance their cause, serve their needs and achieve their desired ends.
