Noble & Scheidecker has been selected by Interlaw as the legal network’s representative firm in Luxembourg. The thirty-five member firm is a “preferred” firm by Legal 500. Noble & Scheidecker is best known for its corporate practice, with significant expertise in employment law, intellectual property, M&A, communications, technology, banking & finance, and dispute resolution. It was formed last year by acquiring the Luxembourg office of Landwell, a venerable full- service corporate law firm; its client base is multinational, especially in the private equity, technology and banking sectors.

Marie-Béatrice Noble and Katia Scheidecker, the two founding partners, attended Interlaw’s most recent Regional Meeting in Edinburgh hosted by Morton Fraser, to introduce their firm and earned unanimous approval from the Board of Directors. In addition to the regional meeting plenary sessions, Ms. Noble attended the Women Lawyers of Interlaw—Europe meeting and Ms. Scheidecker participated in the European IP/IT meeting. Corporate and Real Estate Attorney Mr. Jean-François Findling became the firm’s third partner this year, rounding out N&S leadership, which is fluent in French, English and German.

Flip Petillion of Janson Baugniet (Brussels) and Stephen Maffey of SJ Berwin LLP(London), visited the Luxembourg firm as part of the membership process and both were impressed with the quality of the attorneys and the enthusiasm of the partners. Noble & Scheidecker made a solid impression on Interlaw member firms when partners visited Galland, Kharasch, Greenberg, Fellman & Swirsky, P.C. in Washington D.C. and Kronish Lieb Weiner & Hellman LLP in New York City, before selecting Interlaw as its international association of choice.
